Trails and Tales Project
From 2014 - 2017, a broad range of people-led creative projects generated research, conversations and creative responses to learning – informing the design and creation of a series of outdoors sculptural arts and heritage trails, across East Dunbartonshire.
About the project
Trails and Tales worked with 11 towns and villages across East Dunbartonshire: Auchinairn, Baldernock, Bearsden & Westerton, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Lennoxtown, Lenzie, Milngavie, Milton of Campsie, Torrance and Twechar. These areas were identified and consulted with through a series of events in 2013. The information gathered informed external applications to funding bodies.
